“You Got Gold” — the 3rd annual celebration of the life and music of John Prine — is around the corner. Four days worth of concerts and events will take over Nashville Wednesday, Oct. 9-Saturday, Oct. 12. Some ticketed events have already sold out, so let’s start mapping out the celebration.

Tribute shows

Three tribute shows held at the Ryman Auditorium, Basement East, and Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum anchor the event. While two shows are sold out, you can still grab tickets to the Ryman on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Plus, keep the music turned up with a 10 p.m. after-show at Acme Feed & Seed, where Oh Boy Records’ Collin Fidler will perform one of Prine’s albums in full.

Bonus: We put together this John Prine playlist featuring original music + covers by artists like Tyler Childers, Phoebe Bridgers, and Margo Price.
