Spring is in sight, and Nashville’s event calendar is starting to bloom, from St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and big Broadway shows to garden festivals and crawfish boils.

Cheekwood in Bloom: Red, White & Blooms | Saturday, March 7-Sunday, April 12 | Times vary | Cheekwood | $19+ | Celebrate spring at Cheekwood’s annual festival of flowers, where 250,000 red and white tulips, violas, hyacinths, and daffodils will mark America’s 250th birthday.

Spring Hikes | Saturday, March 21 | Times vary | Locations vary | Free | Welcome a new season with guided hikes at select Tennessee State Parks.

Orchard Planting Party | Friday, March 27-Saturday, March 28 | 8:15 a.m.-12 p.m. | Community Farm at Mill Ridge | Free | Join other volunteers to plant fruit trees that will nourish the city for years to come — no gardening experience required.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival | Saturday, March 14 | 10 a.m.-5 p.m. | Five Points in East Nashville | Free+ | Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early with a parade featuring pipe and drum bands, community groups, and special guests, followed by a festival in Five Points.

Von Patrick’s Day | Saturday, March 14 | 11 a.m.-8 p.m. | Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen | $43+ | Join Von Elrod’s for this ticketed indoor/outdoor event with green beer, a best dressed contest, and Rubiks Groove on the main stage.

East Nash Stache Bash | Saturday, March 14 | 12-11 p.m. | Rosemary & Beauty Queen | $29+ | Rock out for St. Patrick’s Day with three stages and drink specials flowing all day and night.

St. Paddy’s East Nashville Trolley Bar Crawl | Tuesday, March 17 | 5-9 p.m. | East Nashville | $25 | The 21+ event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. with stops at Skinny Dennis, Schulman’s, Lakeside Lounge, and Dino’s.
