These were the most popular books in Nashville in 2024

According to the Nashville Public Library, you couldn’t get enough of these titles last year. If you weren’t able to get your hands on them, see how they might fit into The Bookshop’s 2025 reading challenge.

  • “Funny Story” by Emily Henry
  • “First Lie Wins” by Ashley Eliston
  • “Tom Lake” by Ann Patchett
  • “Fourth Wing” by Rebecca Yarros

Take things a page further

We’ve welcomed 2025, which means The Bookshop’s sixth annual reading challenge is back. To participate, purchase a book from the store that falls within each of the monthly categories. (January’s theme is “cozy, cozy, cozy.”) The Bookshop will track your purchases on a challenge card, and participants with completed cards at the end of the year will receive “exclusive, bookish prizes.” Psst: Some of 2024’s top-shelf reads might satisfy monthly requirements.
