For Valentine’s Day, we made a map of local places where our readers have made memories. We asked for your help compiling everything from proposals to making friends — and you did not disappoint.

Before clicking on the hearts to explore all of the love stories, there are a few we just had to share.

First Horizon Park

My now husband and I had our first date at a Nashville Sounds game in April 2016. We bought drinks at The Band Box and just walked around the concourse, talking about everything and occasionally stopping to watch the game. We eventually sat in our seats in like the 8th inning. It was the best first date to get to know someone — and by the end when we hugged in the parking lot, I knew I wanted to get to know him a lot better! — Jess F.

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row

A few years ago, me and my best friend were visiting Nashville. We both looked at each other on the rooftop of Whiskey Row after a drink (or four) and said we could move here and agreed! We did end up moving here together a year or so later, and it’s been the best time. Highly recommend leaving your hometown. — Brittany H.

Belcourt Theater

Had our first date at the Belcourt Theater. We had originally intended to see a documentary film about fungi and mushrooms, but it had stopped showing the day before. We pivoted and went to see a movie we knew nothing about — “Parasite.” It was such a thrilling movie, we barely noticed each other there! It still made for a great first date, and we’re still together four years later. Now every anniversary we watch “Parasite.” — Anonymous reader

Ole Smoky Moonshine

After dating in high school, my fiancee (soon to be wife) reconnected at Ole Smoky. Nothing says true love like a moonshine tasting. — Anonymous reader

Fifth + Broadway

My husband is a Tennessee native and has been a Nashville Predators fan since he was a kid. When we first started dating, going to Tuesday or Thursday night games on the “Golden Ticket” deal became a staple for us! Being from out of town, I’d always wanted my family to make a trip in to attend a hockey game with us. On the weekend of Dec. 4, 2021, we planned for our parents and family to all attend a Preds game together and decided to stop by the food court at Fifth + Broadway before the game for dinner. Given that it was December and Christmas time, they had the giant Christmas trees set up right in the middle of the complex. My husband proposed to me wearing our matching Nashville Predators jerseys on the way into dinner! The Predators then went on to play one of the most amazing games ever, going into overtime and scoring on a last second goal. It was the most perfect Nashville proposal story ever. — Lauren A.

Now we’re really feeling the love.
