Nashville’s dance music scene is ready to find its groove at Night We Met, a new nightclub debuting later this month.

The 354-person capacity venue opens Friday, March 29 in the former 12th & Porter building — 114 12th Ave. N. — with hopes to be a hub for house music fans. Here’s what to know before you hit the dance floor.

  • Night We Met’s two spaces, the Club Room and Vera Lounge, are fitted with a Void Acoustics sound system and art installations. The bar program will offer “sophisticated twists on popular drinks.”
  • The initial lineup is out, and DJ Kyle Watson kicks off opening night. Check out the events calendar for more talent and ticket information.
  • The venue will feature a zero-waste program, including composting, recycling, and no single-use plastics.

Night We Met opens at 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Doors close at 1 a.m. Thursday and Sunday and 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday, according to the website.
