BNA’s Concourse D expansion is cleared for takeoff

The extension is the first piece of BNA’s New Horizon plans and features new gates and local eats.

Beginning Tuesday, July 8, travelers at Nashville International Airport will have access to five more gates, additional food options, and the airport’s first outdoor terrace thanks to the new Concourse D extension.

The ~162,000-sqft addition features:

  • A rotunda with panoramic views and terrace access
  • A moving walkway lined with a 180-ft art installation
  • Eight new food, drink, and retail options, including a 4,000-sqft Nashville SC-themed restaurant
  • Three large-scale art pieces from local and national artists

This is the first project completed under BNA’s $3 billion New Horizon expansion — a long-term plan that also includes upgrades to terminal roads, baggage systems, and additional concourse work through 2029.
