Get a taste of Nashville as a flavor of ice cream

Here are what ice cream flavors you said best describe our city.

If the ice cream is strawberry, that means it counts as a serving of fruit — right? Asking for a friend.

Recently, we asked you to come up with a unique ice cream flavor that describes Nashville and utilizes one to three locally sourced ingredients. After reading all of your responses, it’s safe to say that our mouths are watering. Here were some of our favorites:

Vanilla ice cream with caramel swirl and topped with Goo Goo Clusters. Called “Moosic City.” - Meredith Y.

Vanilla ice cream topped with hot chicken crunchies from Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and pieces of Goo Goo Clusters. Called “GooGoo Clucker.” - Karen V.

Vanilla ice cream swirled with hot honey and topped with dark chocolate Goo Goo Clusters (aka The Howie Premium Goo Goo). Called “Nashville Hot/Cold.” - Lauren B.

The only thing we need now is a local ice cream shop to make one of these flavors a reality. Bobbie’s Dairy Dip, Mike’s Ice Cream, Sarabhas Creamerywe’re looking at you.
