Lace up for these fall races around Music City

Leaf your competition in the dust at these nine fall races in October, November, and December.

Lace up your running shoes, Nashville. Fall race season has sprinted into view. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-timer, there’s a run for everyone.

Note: All listed times are the start times of the first race.

Fall race days

Nashville 1/2 Marathon | Saturday, Oct. 26 | 7 a.m. | First Horizon Park | Choose from the half marathon, marathon, and 6.15K routes + enjoy a post-race festival after passing the on-field finish line.

Fall Season Celebratory 5K | Saturday, Nov. 23 | 8 a.m. | Two Rivers Park | $40+ (adults), $30+ (children) | The Girls on the Run Race Village will open at 7 a.m. with face painting, coffee, poster decorating, and more.

Turkey trots

Turkey Trot | Thursday, Nov. 28 | 7 a.m. | 3000 Meridian Blvd., Franklin | $45+ (adults), $18 (kids) | Now in its 25th year, over 3,000 participants run or walk the 5K, 10K, and Kid’s Turkey Chase through the heart of Cool Springs.

Music City Turkey Trot | Thursday, Nov. 28 | 8 a.m. | Nissan Stadium | $38+ | Start your holiday with a 5K run/walk or a 1-mile trot, with both courses being dog- and stroller-friendly.

Tommy Crockett Memorial Rescue Run | Thursday, Nov. 28 | 8 a.m. | Two Rivers Ford, Mt. Juliet | $34+ | This 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals in each age group + proceeds benefit Animal Rescue Corps.

Boulevard Bolt | Thursday, Nov. 28 | 8 a.m. | Belle Meade Boulevard | $45+ | Celebrating 31 years this season, the 5-mile race has grown to over 7,500 participants.

Nashville Turkey Trot | Thursday, Nov. 28 | 8:15 a.m.| Wave Country | $42+ (adults), free+ (children) | This family-friendly event features a kid’s dash, fun run, 5K, and 10-mile races.

Holly jolly races

Run Santa Run | Sunday, Dec. 1 | 8 a.m. | Two Rivers Park | $61+ | Get ready to dash into the holiday spirit at this race series that includes 5K, 10K, and half-marathon courses.

Candy Cane Course | Sunday, Dec. 15 | 9 a.m. | Veterans Park, Hendersonville | $29+ (adults), $24 (kids) | Enjoy a festive race day with your choice of courses: 1-mile, 5K, 12K, or Kids Dash.
