Independent Bookstore Day is Saturday, April 25, and regional shops are teaming up for a Mid TN Bookstore Crawl. Pick up a passport at any participating bookstore — including 12 in Davidson County — and start making your rounds.

Other bookish things to look forward to on the day:

  • Parnassus Books will have a story time with Clifford the Big Red Dog, author signings, and special merch.
  • Fairytales Bookstore is hosting kid-friendly programming all day, with storytimes and activities every hour.
  • If you missed The Raven’s grand opening in Brentwood this past weekend, add the bookstore, bar, and lounge to your crawl route.
  • Romance readers, take note: Slow Burn, Sugar & Spice, and The Coastal Cowboy are all participating.
