By 2030, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center will have a new home just across the river from Lower Broadway.
TPAC shared 10+ renderings of the future 307,000-sqft East Bank campus, which will house four performance halls.
- A large hall for touring Broadway productions
- A dance and opera house
- A flexible black box theater
- An intimate cabaret space
The building will also include a rehearsal space, a sensory room, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Cumberland River. Its exterior draws inspiration from organ pipes and chimes, with aluminum tubes arranged to create openings and covered walkways.
TPAC’s current home will remain open during construction, which is expected to begin in 2027.
