Nashville’s new pet-friendly destination raises the bar — or should we say bark — for a day out with the pups.

Urban Dog Bar, an indoor/outdoor dog park and neighborhood bar in the Nations, opens to the public on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 5700 Ohio Ave. Check out the grand opening schedule.

  • 15,500-sqft outdoor park with artificial turf
  • 5,000-sqft dog-friendly indoor area
  • Dedicated spaces for on-leash dogs, small dogs, and general play
  • Full bar with eight local beer taps, wine options, canned drinks, and mocktails — oh, and “dog beer”
  • Indoor and outdoor seating with televisions and free Wi-Fi
  • Trained “rufferees” onsite to supervise play and provide fresh water

How to visit

The biz offers dog memberships (monthly and annual) + day passes ($12 for first dog, $6 for each additional dogs) available for purchase in-person or through Urban Dog Bar’s app. No dog, no problem — guests without a furry companion can just show up.
