The winter holidays are in full swing, offering plenty of opportunities for Nashvillians to gather with loved ones and observe meaningful traditions. Make note of these Christmas events leading up to Dec. 25, and check out the Hanukkah and Kwanzaa happenings below.

Hanukkah

Metro Nashville Menorah Lighting | Monday, Dec. 15 | 5:30 p.m. | Public Square Park | Free | Join Mayor Freddie O’Connell for the annual Metro Nashville menorah lighting downtown.

East Nashville Hanukkah Party | Friday, Dec. 19 | 7-10 p.m. | Urban Cowboy | Cost of purchase | Enjoy food by Jewish Cowboy Nashville, dreidel spinning, wine, and live performances.

Hanukkah Feast | Saturday, Dec. 20-Monday, Dec. 22 | Seating times vary | Butcher & Bee’s Rose Room | $75 adults, $25 kids | Snack on challah, latkes, brisket, and more during this multi-course feast, which also includes a welcome beverage for guests 21 and up.

Hanukkah Tot Shabbat with East Side Tribelings | Saturday, Dec. 20 | 11 a.m.–12 p.m. | Nashville Public Library East Branch | Free | Gather at the library for songs with Mr. Jack and seasonal crafts.

Kwanzaa

Umoja (Unity) Night | Friday, Dec. 26 | 5-11:30 p.m. | Plaza Mariachi | Free+ | Join Kwanzaa Nashville for hands-on activities, live performances, food, and vendors.

Kwanzaa Celebration | Saturday, Dec. 27 | 4-6:30 p.m. | Hadley Lillard Park Community Center | Free+ | Celebrate Day 2 of Kwanzaa (Kujichagulia) with African American Cultural Alliance Nashville.
