TEDxNashville’s annual live speaker conference takes over the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Sunday, Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This year’s “Undercurrent” theme will bring together leaders, thinkers, and creatives to “[explore] how artificial intelligence, social media, sociology, economics, and human psychology are changing us in ways we least expect.”

Let’s meet some of the featured speakers:

  • Jeremy Cowart | Photographer and artist
  • Scott Mulvahill | Bassist, singer-songwriter, and inventor
  • Shauna Sprague | Manager, Intelligent Automation and Analytics at Amazon
  • G. Preston Wilson Jr. | Director of the Fisk Jubilee Singers

Check out the full lineup. The event also offers networking opportunities and a pop-up bookstore presented by Harper Collins and Parnassus Bookstore.

You have two options if you want to take part in the show: Get tickets to the live event or volunteer to help set up the event or greet attendees. Select talks are typically published on the website at a later date.
