Hey Nash, it’s your fave newsletter team here.

We recently got the chance to visit Muscle Shoals: Low Rhythm Rising — the stunning new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and, wow.

On display through early 2028, this in-depth exploration of a quiet Alabama community turned global recording epicenter takes visitors through the history and artists who helped create an entirely new sound in the 1960s and 1970s.

🎹 What to expect

The beautifully curated major exhibit is filled with the stories, artifacts, and real-life instruments from the hit-makers of the time.

From Aretha Franklin’s baby grand piano and Duane Allman’s electric guitar to interactive digital displays highlighting dozens of genre-bending artists, there’s something for casual fans and hardcore music historians alike.
