Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival blooms downtown this weekend

The festival returns to Nashville’s Public Square Park — where beautiful cherry blossoms bloom every year — on Saturday, April 13.

Celebrate spring’s gift of blooming pink blossoms at the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival. The annual Japanese cultural festival takes over downtown’s Public Square Park on Saturday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What to expect

In addition to music and dance performances, cultural and martial arts demonstrations, a marketplace, and children’s activities, make note of the following events:

  • Cherry Blossom Walk | The 2.5-mile course begins and ends at Public Square Park; arrive by 9:30 a.m.
  • Pups in Pink Parade | The parade departs the Proverbs 12:10 tent at 9:30 a.m. prior to the best-dressed contest at the Union Street Stage.
  • Lecture Series | Presented by the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville

Where to park

Parking is available at the underground Metro Courthouse Garage (101 James Robertson Pkwy.) for $15, Nissan Stadium (Lots E and F) for $12, and other nearby spots. Walk Bike Nashville is providing free bike valet parking + a dockless scooter parking zone at the corner of Union Street and 3rd Avenue North.
