Nashville ranks on Tripadvisor’s 2024 Top Destinations list

Tripadvisor users shouted out Nashville’s music and dining scenes (we’re not surprised), as well as the local landmarks we know and love.

Music City is no stranger to accolades, and we’ve done it again, folks.

Nashville landed a spot on Tripadvisor’s Top Destinations in the US list — coming in hot at No. 7. The city is recognized by the Travelers’ Choice 2024 Best of the Best awards for its “creative spirit” and is in the company of coastal cities like Charleston, SC and Miami Beach, FL, as well as Asheville, NC and Sedona, AZ.

Of course, we know why Nashville is great, but what local attractions make Music City a top destination according to travelers? Our city earned high marks for its:

Speaking of the restaurant landscape, Nashville ranked No. 6 on the company’s 2024 list for Top Food Destinations in the US. Some of the highest-rated local spots on the platform are Midtown Cafe, Pelato, 1 Kitchen Nashville, Bourbon Steak, and Luogo.

According to Tripadvisor, Best of the Best winners are destinations with hotels, restaurants, and things to do that receive a high volume of “above-and-beyond reviews and opinions” from users over the course of a year.

Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best rankings, “signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.”
