First look: Pont Neuf has bloomed in West Nashville

The floral-inspired cocktail bar by Amelia’s Flowers owners Mattie Bush-Martin and Taylor Martin is set to open inside L&L Market on Friday, Dec. 27.

Cancel your flight — we have France at home. We will anyways when Pont Neuf opens inside L&L Market on Friday, Dec. 27.

The combination floral shop and cocktail bar is the brainchild of Amelia’s Flowers owner Mattie Bush-Martin and her husband Taylor Martin. Across the pond, Pont Neuf stands as Paris’ oldest bridge. It also happens to be near where the Nashville business owners got married, inspiring the name of their newest concept.

As for the space, you’ll feel as though you stepped into someone’s personal studio. Oversized windows line exposed brick walls and fabric is draped like a tapestry behind a living room-style seating area. Of course, a former Amelia’s Flowers truck completes the look.

The new digs will act as an after-hours extension of the floral shop a few doors down, with events and workshops by day + cocktails and small bites by night. Yes, you can build-your-own bouquets here, too.

Nearly 20 wine options sold by the glass or bottle fill the front page of the menu — and the red is served chilled. On the back is where you’ll find spritz, classic cocktails, mocktails, and a few craft beers. Of note is the Midnight at Montmartre with Lillet and cucumber, the non-alcoholic Elderflower Spritz + the sourdough bread and olive oil dip (with spices that give a little kick).

You’ll love: The Moments in Bloom menu featuring experiential food, beverage, and floral pairings like The Meet Cute and The Just Because + Camp Snap cameras to capture your memories, which might be featured on the bar’s Instagram.

Pont Neuf will be open Wednesday through Sunday, but if you follow the biz on social media, you’ll be the first to know about some soft opening hours around the holidays. Go on, take a look around.
