Every time we look around, it seems like something new is popping up in Nashville. Whether you’re looking for your next go-to dinner destination or a new public park to stretch your legs, we’re rounding up a few things coming soon to Music City this quarter.

Community

The Landings at River North, 531 Cowan St. | Spring and Summer 2024 | Noted as the first major addition to the East Bank revitalization, The Landings at River North will feature four buildings encompassing residential, office, retail, and restaurant spaces. By summer, 651 units will be available, with other additions to follow and a second phase of construction to begin in the spring.

Pullman at Gulch Union, 1212 Demonbreun St. | May 2024 | The 29-story condo complex offering 300 units is part of the Gulch Union development. Amenities will include two pickleball courts, a fitness center, swimming pool, library, game room, lobby-level coffee shop, and more.

Retail

Opry Mills, 433 Opry Mills Dr. | Spring 2024 | National clothing and accessory retailers Tory Burch and The North Face are set to open more area locations, this time at Opry Mills.

Nordstrom Rack, 2000 Mallory Ln., Franklin | Fall 2024 | A second Williamson County Nordstrom Rack (~12,000 sqft smaller than the storefront’s traditional locations) will open in Cool Springs Market and offer up to 70% off styles sold at Nordstrom.

Multiple four-top tables are set with white tablecloths and a long bar-like table run the length of the room with candles lit on top.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to check the dress code once Phillip Chow arrives in Nashville.

Philippe Chow, 209 10th Ave. S. | 2024 | From New York City to Music City, the upscale Chinese restaurant is known for its classics and foodie favorites like the dumplings and hand-pulled noodles.

Fancypants, 917 Dickerson Pk. | Early 2024 | Upscale dining gets a lively twist when Honest to Goodness Hospitality’s Fancypants lands in East Nashville, bringing a farm-focused menu with it.

Back 40 Nashville, 315 Deaderick St. | Spring 2024 | Grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner from the scratch kitchen’s “rustic country” menu in downtown’s USB Tower.

Torchy’s Tacos, 1929 Broadway | Late 2024 | This Austin-based (hey, ATXtoday) Tex-Mex chain will guac Midtown with its breakfast tacos, green chile queso, and Taco of the Month selection.

The Henry, 2803 12th Ave. | 2024 | Restaurateur Sam Fox will bring his upscale concept to two floors of 12 South Collection with craft drinks occupying the lower level and the upper level offering an open-concept glass kitchen, rooftop patio, and an indoor and outdoor bar.

Fishmonger, 1300 Adams St. | Spring 2024 | Find this seafood-centric spot in Germantown’s Neuhoff development — we hear the blackened grouper sandwich is a must-try. Owners have an additional Nashville location in the works. Stay tuned.

Fogg Street Lawn Club, 648 Fogg St. | Spring 2024 | British-style lawn bowling will take over a 6,000-sqft rooftop in Pie Town and also offer a soccer and rugby pub. The venture — owned by Bad Axe Throwing’s Thom Dahle — will sit on the same property as the entertainment venue.

Odie’s, 1919 Division St. | Summer 2024 | Reigning CMA vocal group of the year Old Dominion will open the bar and music venue in the space formerly home to ReBar.

Canopy by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton, 910 Division St. | July 2024 | The dual-branded hotel will offer an 8,500-sqft agave-focused rooftop bar called Afterglow, as well as host local favorites, including a Five Points Pizza window, Yazoo Taproom at Common Place, and 8th & Roast Coffee Bar.

Recreation

Shelby Commons, East Nashville | Planning stage | The US Naval Reserve Training Center at the park’s western entrance is in the process of revitalization to become an art-focused community hub with recreational opportunities — Metro Parks is hosting meetings to gather feedback.

440 Greenway, Sevier Park to Browns Creek Park Greenway | Funding stage | Final draft plans are locked in for this ¾ -mile segment of the 440 Greenway, which would link Sevier Park’s adjacent neighborhoods to Gale Lane Park and Browns Creek Park.

Residential

Starling, 820 4th Ave. N. | Spring 2024 | Housing nearly 360 units and overlooking the First Horizon Park outfield, this 578,747-sqft development will boast over 16,000 sqft of retail upon its completion.

900 at Cleveland Park, 900 Dickerson Pk. | Summer 2024 | The 256-unit development is located on the border of East Nashville’s Cleveland Park neighborhood.

If there’s one thing we love even more than looking ahead to the future, it’s enjoying the present at one of Nashville’s newest spots. Check out this list of Music City’s recently opened establishments.

Dining

Tío Fun, 1008 Buchanan St. | Meaning “fun uncle,” this vibrantly painted space offering a casual approach to “Mexican munchies” boasts a menu filled with a variety of street tacos and sides, as well as items like the Tijuana Dog and Carnita Melt.

Burger + Grain, 4900 Centennial Blvd., Ste. 102 | Located in The Nations’ Stocking 51 development, the biz features an open kitchen concept with moody and elevated lighting. Bonus: Take note of the locally-sourced ingredients and partnerships with Good Citizen Coffee Co. and The Honey Collective.

Mercado by Butchertown, 625 Hamilton Ave. | The sister concept to Butchertown Hall focuses on oysters, baja-style fish tacos, and spicy Mexican aguachile in Wedgewood-Houston. Pro tip: Head up to the rooftop to experience Ramone’s.

Joe Muer Seafood, 500 11th Ave. N. | Dig into fresh seafood dishes at the upscale Capitol View restaurant from Detroit and don’t miss “Golden Hour” Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Business

The Malin Wedgewood Houston, 1131 4th Ave. S., Ste. 230 | This marks the coworking space’s first location outside of New York City and is the largest location thus far. Step inside for 16,000-sqft of mixed seating options from library space to soundproof phone booths.

Forza Pilates, 724 Merritt Ave., Ste. 103 | The studio occupies 1,700 sqft of Standard Assembly and offers four class types for intermediate and all-level skill sets — forte, foundations, aria, and recovery.

Recreation

Puttshack, 138 12th Ave. N, | Try your hand at this 9-hole mini golf experience with multiple courses that use tech to track the game — meaning no pencil and paper involved.

Glasshaüs, 483 Craighead St. | Take a glassblowing class at this Berry Hill venue, which also offers a gallery, event space, and café.

gorjana, 5053 Broadway Pl., Ste. A | Laguna Beach jewelry brand gorjana brought a second storefront to Nashville, this time occupying a 1,812-sqft space at Fifth + Broadway.

12 South Collection, 2803 12th Ave. S. | Recently opened storefronts within the new development include Alice + Olivia, Jenni Kayne, La Vie Style House, Lele Sadoughi, Mejuri, PAIGE, and Rag & Bone.

Lucky Rabbit Candy Shop, 703 Porter Rd. | Apple and Oak’s Allison Holley and N.B. Goods’ Camille Alston partnered on the concept offering nostalgic candies at the Shops at Porter East.

Residential

Hyve, 635 7th Ave. S. | The 83-unit condominium hosts one, two, and three-bedroom layouts with limited edition fully furnished residences designed by frenchCALIFORNIA.

Albion, 645 Division St. | This 21-story mixed-use tower is home to apartment units with access to a rooftop pool and tiki bar, golf simulator, makers space, and indoor/outdoor yoga studio.
