The 2025 Super Bowl is on Sunday, Feb. 9 featuring the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. From players to commercials, there are a few Nashville connections to know.

Although there’s no two-toned blue on the field this year, Nashville is still represented at the 2025 Super Bowl. First, here are a few fast facts:

  • When | Sunday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Who | Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles
  • Halftime show | Kendrick Lamar and SZA
  • Where to watch | Fox, Fubo, Tubi, DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and Hulu with Live TV

The players

Former Titans A.J. Brown (Eagles) and DeAndre Hopkins (Chiefs) are off to the big game, along with a few Eagles players who have local collegiate ties. Linebacker Oren Burks and fullback Khari Blasingame both played at Vanderbilt, while safety Reed Blankenship suited up for MTSU.

The commercials

Nashville comedian Nate Bargatze’s Doordash bit on “Saturday Night Live” last year didn’t just get laughs — it also caught the company’s attention. Check out the 15-second teaser, then watch the full ad on Sunday. If that’s not enough Music City, Shania Twain sings “Gimme Cold Foam” for Coffee-Mate.

The food

It’s time to make sure you’re celebrating the right way... with great food. We’ve added more specials to this guide, including party packs from Emmy Squared and Dos Santos’ build-your-own tacos.
