Dead malls? Not if this is any indicator. The Nashville area’s retail landscape is about to expand with a new outlet mall coming to Thompson’s Station in Williamson County.

Construction on Nashville Premium Outlets is expected to begin in 2026 at the intersection of I-65 and I-840, which is near FirstBank Amphitheater. While we await more details on the 325,000-sqft mixed-use center, here are three fast facts:

  • The outlet mall is being developed by Simon, the same real estate investment group behind The Mall at Green Hills and Opry Mills, and AJ Capital Partners. Simon operates nearly 100 Premium Outlets across the globe.
  • No stores or eateries have been announced, but plans call for 75 retailers, restaurants, and a hotel, with the potential to incorporate big-box stores and residential options.
  • The shopping center will be located 30 miles south of downtown Nashville and joins Tanger Outlets as one of the area’s newest retail destinations.

Bonus: Although we don’t know what the directory will look like just yet, browse the key tenants at other Simon properties in California, New York, and North Carolina.
