Joann Fabrics and Crafts
All Joann locations, including the six Middle Tennessee stores, are set to shut down. Luckily, you can find plenty of new and gently used craft materials — from paints to fabrics — at Smart Art + Craft Supplies. Another sustainable shopping option is Turnip Green Creative Reuse, where you can “pay what you wish” at the reuse center.

New details have emerged on a family farm near Opryland turning into a luxury camping resort. Northgate Resorts is seeking approval for The Bend Resort, which will feature a mix of 425 cabins and RV sites. Future phases call for a hotel, apartments, and retail/restaurant space. Atlanta-based seafood restaurant Fishmonger has set a date for its Neuhoff District location. Stop by Friday, March 14 and beyond to try its blackened grouper sandwich + stay tuned for a Wedgewood-Houston outpost later this year. (Nashville Business Journal)

Koshō by Tabu, a restaurant specializing in Japanese small plates, yakitori, and hot pot, opens today at 538 6th Ave. S. It blends elements from two other concepts, Tabu Shabu and Oak & Coal. Psst — opening weekend reservations are filling up.

Some things just go better together, like Luke Combs having a Music City Walk of Fame star. The 12:30 p.m. ceremony on Thursday, March 20 is open to the public and follows a scheduling conflict that delayed his induction last fall.
