Developments coming to Nashville, TN in 2022

It’s been another big year for development in Music City, from Amazon’s downtown towers to Nashville SC’s new soccer stadium. In 2022, Nashville’s business + economic development landscape will only continue to grow.

In case you skimmed over some of this groundbreaking news, here’s a quick recap of what’s to come.

Nashville SC

Nashville SC Stadium, The Fairgrounds Nashville | Scheduled to open May 1 | This 30,000-seat stadium — the largest soccer-specific stadium in the US — will feature a 360-degree canopy roof, 65 ft wide shared concourse, and 25 private suites. Nashville SC is set to play its first match in the new stadium against Philadelphia Union.

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, 222 2nd Ave. | Anticipated to open mid-2022 | Standing at 40 stories high, this five-star luxury property will feature 236 hotel rooms and 143 private residences. Franklin restaurant The Rutledge is expected to open on the ground floor of the hotel.

The Wash

The Wash, 1101 McKennie Ave. | Anticipated to open in early 2022 | This former car wash turned open-bay food hall is fully leased with six tenants, including East Side Pho, Soy Cubano, Tootsie Lou’s Tacos, and more.

Amazon Operations Center of Excellence

Amazon Operations Center of Excellence, 1000 Church St. | Anticipated to fully open in 2023 | Three years after the initial announcement, Amazon’s first of two downtown towers is now complete ahead of its spring 2022 opening. The Urban Juicer and Eatery, Pinnacle Bank, and other tenants will occupy space in the building. The second tower is expected to open in 2023.

Other developments on track to open in 2022 include 24-story office tower One22One (1221 Broadway), mixed-use community Vintage Edge, (5833 Nolensville Pk.), and the 174-unit microhousing project Rutledge Flats (628-630 3rd Ave. S.).
