Calling all teachers and school administrators. Did you know about the Student Matinee Program at Nashville Children’s Theatre? These special school performances are offered for all NCT productions (think: “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Diary of Anne Frank,” “Hip Hop Cinderella” + more).

Student matinees are offered Tuesdays-Fridays at 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. and typically last 60-70 minutes. Read: Perfect timing for a field trip. NCT makes it easy to plan, with field trip request forms and even curriculum guides provided. Hello, unit planning made easy.

Not sure it’s in the budget? NCT also makes it affordable — field trip tickets are just $10 per student, and MNPS + Title 1 school subsidies are available. Bonus: For every ten student tickets purchased, NCT includes a free educator ticket. (And the memories students will make? Priceless.)

Post-show Q&As and workshops are also available for scheduling, and they haven’t forgotten about homeschoolers — check out the 2022-23 Homeschool Days.

Pro tip for educators: Peep these Educator Preview Nights for the 2022-23 season (and get inspired to book that field trip).*
