Family frights

Halloween Harvest Festival | Tuesday, Oct. 29 | The 12 South Farmers Market is going all out for its final 2024 event with vendor trick-or-treating, costume contests, and free tote bags for the first 50 kids.

The Adventure Park at Nashville | Wednesday, Oct. 30 | Zip through the treetops and climb through creepy courses, all while keeping your eyes peeled in the Monster Eyeball Scavenger Hunt.

Boo at the Zoo | Through Thursday, Oct. 31 | Don’t miss free spins on the Scary-Go-Round, trick-or-treat stations, nightly animal shows, costumed characters, and carnival games.

Wag-O-Ween | Wednesday, Oct. 30 | Halloween is looking extra fur-ightful this year at Pins Mechanical Company — all costume contest participants receive a free wag bag and a duckpin bowling card.

Grown up Halloween

Seasonal pop-ups | Through Thursday, Oct. 31 | It’s the last week to visit The Sandworm (Noelle’s Hidden Bar), Black Lagoon (Barrel Proof), The Raven’s Nest (Bar TENN), and other Halloween pop-ups.

Clue Murder Mystery Dinner | Thursday, Oct. 31 | Not only will you don the persona of an iconic character upon arrival at Thistle & Rye, there will be light bites and themed drinks. Tickets are $50.

L.A. Jackson’s Witching Hour | Thursday, Oct. 31 | Dust off the broom, throw on a costume, and fly over to the rooftop for a night of thrills including DJ beats and spiritual readings.

Coral Club’s Doom Island 2: “No Escape” Party | Thursday, Oct. 31 | This tiki party with a twist will have zombie-themed drink mugs, tropical cocktails, and festive decor. Try this: Horrors of the Deep made with gin, pear brandy, Hpnotiq, passionfruit, almond, and lemon.

Movie madness

On select days through Thursday, Oct. 31, see “Carrie,” “Halloween III,” and “Practical Magic” at the Belcourt Theatre + “Psycho” and “Halloween” at The Franklin Theatre. Both cinemas will host screenings of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

Plus, catch free outdoor double features at W Nashville on Wednesday, Oct. 30 (“Practical Magic” and “The Craft”) and Thursday, Oct. 31 (“Get Out” and “Us”).

Skull’s Rainbow Room | Through Sunday, Nov. 3 | Step into the world of Old Hollywood horror with haunting decor, themed sips, special dishes like squid ink bucatini, and “chilling burlesque performances.”

Sinatra Bar & Lounge | Through Sunday, Nov. 3 | You’ll be singing “It’s Witchcraft” with special cocktails like the Old Devil Moon made with Buffalo Trace, chianti, magdala, orange liqueur, lemon, and simple syrup.

Martha My Dear | Thursday, Oct. 31 | No reservation required | The East Nashville bar turns Into “Martha My Fear” for one night only with food by Verna, drink specials, and a costume contest at 10 p.m.

Haunted houses

Beast House | Through Saturday, Nov. 2 | This haunted experience is so scary, there is a money back guarantee if you can make it through all of the phases.

Devil’s Dungeon | Through Saturday, Nov. 2 | Take a trip into this haunted dungeon… if you dare.

Nashville Nightmare | Through Sunday, Nov. 3 | If you don’t want to participate in the multi-themed haunted houses, check out the escape room and laser maze.
