Your guide to the 2022 TEDxNashville

Welcome to our TED talk. TEDxNashville is going down at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center later this month, Sat., Aug. 27-Sun., Aug. 28. The event will bring thinkers, doers, and new perspectives to the big stage.

Hold on — who’s Ted?

TED (which stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an annual conference for sharing big ideas. Every year, some of the brightest minds come together to present on topics from astronomy to agriculture — in 18 minutes or less.

TEDx provides guidance + resources to independent organizers to spread the mission of the original conference. Hence, TEDxNashville: organized by local leaders and held right here in Music City.

Look who’s talking

This year’s theme is The End of Impossible. Speakers include:

  • Dr. Thema Bryant, president-elect of the American Psychological Association
  • Natalie Hemby, Grammy Award-winning artist + member of supergroup The Highwomen
