Nashville’s East Bank is reeling in a new seafood restaurant

The Salt Line will serve staples from its original menu in Washington, DC, along with “reimagined seafood classics” inspired by the Nashville area.

A seafood restaurant inspired by New England’s oyster houses plans to make waves on the East Bank late next year.

The Salt Line will be part of the River North development, just south of the future Oracle campus and directly across from the Oxbow and Wayward apartments. The restaurant is set to boast a 6,200-sqft interior and a 5,500-sqft exterior anchored by a waterfront outdoor bar. Here’s what to expect:

  • Food | Everything from New England favorites (fried + stuffed clams and lobster rolls) to Chesapeake Bay staples (pimento crab dip and fried soft shell blue crabs)
  • Drinks | Craft beers from the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, a wine list, and a cocktail program that includes frozen Del’s Shandy

The Salt Line plans to open with nightly dinner service followed by Saturday and Sunday brunch. Lunch service is expected to launch soon after the restaurant opens.
