The family-owned restaurant opened its first location in San Diego in 2012.

California-based Mexican restaurant Puesto is heading east — and Nashville Yards will be its first stop outside of the Golden State. The eatery plans to open in summer 2026 on the ground floor of The Everett near The Pinnacle.

Puesto’s menu centers on Mexico City-style tacos with hand-pressed blue corn tortillas and a layer of crispy melted cheese. Some menu highlights include:

  • Filet mignon tacos ranked among San Diego’s best
  • Maine lobster, baja fish, and chicken al pastor options
  • 17 house-made salsas
  • Bar program overseen by James Beard semifinalist Beau du Bois

Puesto co-founder Isidoro Lombrozo attended Vanderbilt University and said he has “always dreamed of a homecoming.” The restaurant will join other newly opened Nashville Yards spots, including Fogo de Chao and Nick the Greek.
