Music City’s restaurant scene is overflowing with options, and if you asked us to name our favorites, we’d quickly lose count. Enter The New York Times, which rose to the challenge with its “Where to Eat: 25 Best” series for Nashville.

The list, released Monday, Oct. 7, features both long-standing local favorites and the city’s latest culinary arrivals:

  • A-H | Audrey, Bad Idea, Bastion, Bolton’s, Butterlamp, Choy, City House, Edessa, Elliston Place Soda Shop, Folk, Henrietta Red
  • I-N | Iggy’s, International Market, Kisser, Locust, Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Noko
  • O-Z | Peninsula, Present Tense, Red Perch, Silver Sands, Sperry’s Restaurant, S.S. Gai, Tailor, Xiao Bao

As the publication notes in its intro, Nashville’s food scene is “as vibrant as it’s ever been,” showcasing everything from “barbecue and haute Southern cooking” to “innovative Chinese cuisine and a revelatory fried fish shop.”

Now that you’ve seen the list, do you agree with the selections? If you could add one more Nashville restaurant to make it 26, which spot would you choose? Let us know via this survey.
