Crinkle or curly fries? No need to choose — Joyland serves both, along with burgers, shakes, and biscuits.

James Beard Award-winning chef Sean Brock’s fast-casual burger joint Joyland officially opens in Sylvan Heights on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The restaurant at 4013 Charlotte Ave. marks the second Nashville location and third overall — Joyland debuted in East Nashville in spring 2020 + the concept expanded to Birmingham earlier this year. Here’s what to know before the doors swing open at 8 a.m.

What’s cooking

The breakfast menu, which is served daily, features buttermilk biscuit sandwiches, a burrito with all the fixings, and waffle hashbrowns. For lunch and dinner, choose from a variety of hamburgers (including the signature crustburger), as well as fried chicken on a stick, fries, hand pies, and shakes.

Joyland is open until 9 p.m. every Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Bonus: On Saturday, Nov. 30, Brock will host a grand opening vinyl party from 6 to 9 p.m.
