Nashville’s Juneteenth Restaurant Week

Over 20 Black-owned restaurants and businesses will be offering specials or discounted menu items in the week leading up to Juneteenth.

Sunday, June 9 marked the start of Nashville’s Taste of Freedom Restaurant Week, an 11-day culinary experience kicking off Juneteenth615’s 2024 celebrations. Preview the array of sips, snacks, and specials available at 20+ participating businesses through Wednesday, June 19.

Restaurant Week isn’t the only way to commemorate the holiday. There are various events happening around Nashville in the coming days, including Juneteeneth615’s annual fireworks show at Fort Negley Park with live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and an official proclamation ceremony. Plus, a community bike ride, special events at the National Museum of African American Music, and symphony performances.
