Order a cup of joe at these six spots along Demonbreun — or should we say Demonbrewin — from Music Row to the riverfront.

Demonbreun Street. The street’s pronunciation is a conversation for another day, but one thing is for certain: There’s no shortage of coffee along this 1.2-mile stretch between Music Row and the Cumberland River.

Without further a-brew, let’s get to know six coffee shops located on the well-traveled route.

Just Love Music Row, 1528 Demonbreun St.

  • Just Love has been brewing in the neighborhood since 2015. The coffee shop’s exposed brick interior offers cozy vibes and serves as the backdrop for occasional live music. Try This: The signature Cha-Cha drink (dark chocolate, hazelnut, and amaretto).

Tin Cup Coffee Co., 1201 Demonbreun St. Ste. 100

  • Located around the corner from E+Rose, this spot goes beyond coffee with a variety of breakfast and lunch offerings like frittatas, egg and cheddar biscuits, and sandwiches.

Stompin’ Grounds Market, 201 8th Ave. S.

  • Bypass the hotel lobby and opt for the entrance off Demonbreun Street, where you can order a hot cup of joe, cold brew, and a variety of breakfast pastries from the Stompin’ Grounds counter.

Neighbors Café, 710 Demonbreun St. (inside 1 Hotel Nashville)

  • Level up your coffee run by ordering a blueberry or s’mores muffin, quiche made with Gifford’s Bacon, or the vegan breakfast sandwich. Try This: Hive Latte made with pistachio milk, sea salt, cinnamon, and honey.

Good Citizen Coffee Co., 708 Demonbreun St. (inside Embassy Suites)

  • The Nashville-based coffee company’s downtown outpost serves brewed coffee, espresso, and more. Try This: Check the cold case for Good Citizen’s canned coffee drinks.

Café Intermezzo, 205 Demonbreun St.

  • This European-style restaurant, dessert shop, and haven for coffee lovers is located just a couple blocks away from Broadway. Coffee specialties range from Turkish coffee and alcoholic options to drinks named after Bach and Mozart.
