Hotel planned for Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood

The hotel would rise eight stories at 1500 3rd Ave. N. and include 4,000 sqft of commercial space.

The Germantown neighborhood is poised for its first traditional hotel property, according to a 24-page document submitted to Metro.

Plans call for an eight-story hotel near Morgan Park at 1500 3rd Ave. N. If the project is approved, the 260-room development will incorporate two food and bev components — a restaurant and patio at the corner of Van Buren Street and 3rd Avenue North + another concept facing 2nd Avenue.

The project will be led by Atlanta-based North Point Hospitality, which has developed three hotels in SoBro and Midtown.
