What do Mozart, “Star Wars,” and Dolly Parton have in common? They’re all part of the Nashville Symphony’s 2025-2026 season. Here’s what the group orchestrated for you:

A stacked season...

... with more than 80 performances across five categories: classical, pops, movie, family, and special events. Jamey Johnson, Ben Rector, and films like “Home Alone” + “Frozen” are just a few of the shows featuring symphony accompaniment.

Giancarlo Guerrero’s departure

It’s the first season in 16 years without Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero, though he’ll conduct on select dates, including a performance with soprano Renée Fleming next spring. Guerrero isn’t the only guest conductor — the season highlights a range of new faces at the podium.

World premieres + live recordings

Catch the world premiere of Amanda Gorman’s poetry set to symphonic music + live recordings of Mason Bates’ “Passage” and Suite from “The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs.”

An encore for Dolly

If you missed getting tickets to the world premiere of “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” on March 20, 2025, the program will make its return March 19-21, 2026.

See the full list of shows on the symphony’s website or via this interactive brochure. Subscriptions are on sale now, with single tickets available beginning Monday, June 2.
