No surprise here: Music City is well represented on Season 29 of “The Voice.” In the new “Battle of Champions” season, six Nashville-based artists landed on teams led by Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend.

Team KellyAbigayle Oakley, Blaire Elbert, JW Griffin
Oakley, a Belmont alum, is an indie-folk songwriter you may have heard at the Bluebird Cafe or as an opening act for The War and Treaty. Elbert also has Belmont ties and previously performed with the girl group the Cactus Cuties. After moving to Nashville, Griffin won a songwriting contest that earned him a spot at Whiskey Jam during CMA Fest.

Team AdamBay Simpson
Simpson grew up in a musical family — his mom won “Nashville Star,” and he even has distant family ties to Elvis Presley.

Team LegendKendra Remedios, Natasha Blaine
Remedios splits her time between dental hygiene work and performing around Nashville, while Blaine, a Vanderbilt University alum, brings jazz influences to her songwriting.

“The Voice” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC and streams on Peacock the next day.
