Davidson County visitors generated a record $11.2 billion in spending last year, a 4.17% increase from 2023, according to new state data. That’s an average of $30.7 million a day fueling the local economy.

To put that in perspective, $11.2 billion could buy:

  • 186 million Frist Art Museum memberships ($60)
  • 723 million Belcourt movie tickets ($15.50)
  • 1.12 billion Nashville Sounds berm tickets ($10)
  • 1.15 billion four-piece tender orders from Prince’s ($9.75)
  • 2.5 billion Five Points Pizza pepperoni slices ($4.50)

However you slice it, that’s a lot of Music City dough. In fact, Nashville’s tourism industry now makes up one-third of all visitor spending in Tennessee.
