Let off some steam with Nashville’s sauna scene

Saunas are no longer just about sweating it out — they’re becoming Nashville’s newest way to unwind and socialize.

If you haven’t heard, the US sauna market is heating up.

According to a report from market research firm Technavio, the industry is projected to grow by $151 million between now and 2029, fueled by Americans seeking new ways to stay active + socialize. And yes, Nashville’s sauna scene is gaining steam, too.

Framework
This Finnish-inspired studio in Wedgewood-Houston offers saunas, cold plunge tubs, and even a cafe. Framework’s new Backyard studio in East Nashville brings the experience outdoors with a 190-degree traditional sauna for up to 12 people and cold tubs.

Holiday Salon & Bathhouse
Designed for private groups up to 10, this bathhouse features a Himalayan salt sauna, steam room, and a 104-degree saltwater soaking pool. For a more secluded experience, the Soak & Sauna room has a private infrared sauna and whirlpool tub.

Lolu
In East Nashville, Lolu features a 40-person sauna that serves as the heart of its studio alongside cold tubs, guided classes, and a coffee shop.

MoSauna
This mobile, wood-fired sauna comes straight to your doorstep — no infrared panels, just heat and steam. It’s designed to fit 10 to 12 people and can be booked for home use, events, or retreats, with an optional cold plunge add-on for the full experience.

Rhapsody Spa
Located inside The Westin, a day pass grants access to the dry sauna and eucalyptus steam showers, among other amenities.

R+R Wellness
This self-guided spa experience available through Resort Pass comes with access to a steam shower, dry sauna, a relaxation lounge, and the heated outdoor rooftop pool at the Grand Hyatt Nashville.

Those aren’t the only places working up a sweat — local spots such as Pause Studio, Pure Sweat Studios, and Urban Sweat offer infrared saunas, and Form Wellness specializes in ozone saunas.
