Ceramic Souls is firing up its East Nashville pottery studio

The pottery studio will offer classes, workshops, and a tiered membership model when it opens in April.

A short and long wooden table with four pottery wheels and stools on either side of it takes up most of the picture, but you can see a portion of another station in the background behind it.

A Little Free Art Gallery will also be set up outside of the studio, so you can take a piece or leave a piece for your fellow neighbors. | Photo via Ceramic Souls

Clay all day (and night) when Ceramic Souls, a 24/7-access pottery studio, opens in the Highland Yards development on Tuesday, April 1.

Before founder Julia Ducayet throws open the doors, the community is invited to three free-to-attend open houses at the end of March to walk through the space and ask questions.

The studio’s wheel-throwing and hand-building class series kicks things off, with the first weekly beginner-friendly Happy Hour: Intro to Wheel Class on Friday, April 11 to follow.

A grand opening celebration is set for May, and at this time, Ceramic Souls will introduce even more class offerings. For now, explore membership perks and sign up for the two upcoming workshops.
