A ~1.5 hour drive from Nashville is a venue unlike any here in Music City — The Caverns in Grundy County, Tennessee.

The Caverns is a connected underground cave system covering 8,000 ft of cave passages. During the day, take guided cave tours or journey deeper (we’re looking at you, thrill-seekers) for an adventure cave tour. At night, the venue hosts cave concerts and above-ground amphitheater shows.

As of now, the venue has 25+ concerts and music festivals scheduled through the end of the year. If you’re seeking an adventurous concert experience, here are a few spring events to put on your calendar:

  • Taj Mahal Quartet | Friday, April 14
  • The Avett Brothers | Sunday, April 23
  • Spoon | Sunday, April 30
  • Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular | Sunday, May 7
  • Ride the Tide Music Festival | Friday, May 19-Sunday, May 21
  • King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard | Thursday, June 1-Sunday, June 4
  • Comedy Fest from the Caverns | Saturday, June 24
  • Big Mouth Bluegrass Festival | Saturday, July 1-Sunday, July 2
