Set your alarms early for Record Store Day on Saturday, April 20. The special day for music lovers and vinyl collectors occurs twice a year: once in the spring and again on Black Friday. Both times, musicians release special edition records in limited quantities.

Keep the records spinning all day at these nine local celebrations:

Vinyl Tap , 2038 Greenwood Ave. | 9 a.m.-8 p.m. | Expect performances on indoor and outdoor stages, 20+ vendors, drink specials, and a food truck park at this RSD block party.

The Groove Records , 1103 Calvin Ave. | 11 a.m.-7 p.m. | The record store is teaming up with Acme to host local vendors, food trucks, and live music.

Grimey’s New & Preloved Music , 1060 E. Trinity Ln. | 10 a.m.-7 p.m. | Shop RSD exclusives from the back door across from Anaconda Vintage. Bonus: WXNA will be spinning the tunes and Newman Family BBQ is bringing the barbecue.
