What to know about 2022 Nashville Design Week

Calling all designers. Nashville Design Week is fast approaching. The fifth annual event dedicated to all types of design industries — from architecture and interiors to graphic, landscape, and fashion — is set for Mon., Oct. 31-Fri., Nov. 4.

The 2022 event features 18 special features at venues across town, including a mix of panel discussions, workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities. Now that you know the basics, here are three happenings to get you excited for this year’s offerings (see the full schedule here):

  • Rug-Cutting Ceremony | Mon., Oct. 31 | Nightscape, 114 12th Ave. N. | 7-9:30 p.m. | Attend the kickoff party to honor five years of Nashville Design Week.
  • Fashioning Our World Together | Wed., Nov. 2 | Fivestone Studios, 1310 Clinton St. Ste. 111 | 7-9:30 p.m. | This live VR design session showcases ways new technology can aid in collaboration.
  • Green Space is Having a Moment | Thurs., Nov. 3 | Trolley Park, 500 11th Ave. N. | This panel covers using the urban outdoor environment to connect with community + features live music.
