This Thurs., Nov. 11 is Veterans Day — the day set aside to honor the brave men + women who have fought to protect our country.

To emphasize the community’s thankfulness, several events are taking place around town to celebrate our veterans, active military, and their families. ⬇️

  • Field of Honor | Thurs., Nov. 4-Sat., Nov. 13 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, Victory Field | Free | $18 | The historic site will feature 1,000 American flags honoring veterans + active military.
  • Marines & Others: A Birthday Celebration and Veterans Day | Wed., Nov. 10 | 5 p.m. | Red Phone Booth, 136 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. | Free | Gather for a silent auction, food, drinks, games, and cake benefitting Hero Hunt.
  • Veterans Day at the Museum | Thurs., Nov. 11 | 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum | Free | Veterans and active military can visit the museum with up to 3 guests for free.
  • Veterans Day Ceremony | Thurs., Nov. 11 | 11 a.m. | Veterans Memorial Park, 115 Floyd Mayfield Dr, La Vergne | Free | Attend a ceremony honoring those who have served in the military.
  • Veterans Day Virtual Race | Thurs., Nov. 11-Tue., Nov. 30 | Times Vary | Virtual | $20 | Head out to a local trail or park + support veterans by running or walking a distance of your choice.
  • 95.5 NASH ICON’s Salute To Veterans Concert | Tues., Nov. 23 | 7:30 p.m. | 3rd and Lindsley, 818 3rd Ave. S. | $20 | The concert featuring Shane McAnally, Caitlyn Smith, and Matt Jenkins will benefit the Folded Flag Foundation.
