Boeing, Boeing, gone. Despite a weathered year for flying (read : high passenger volumes + staff shortages), Nashville International Airport soared nine points on J.D. Power’s North America Airport Satisfaction Study — up to 799 on the 1,000-point scale.
How the study works
The study measures overall traveler satisfaction based on six factors — terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check + food, beverage, and retail.
This year’s results came from 27,147 completed surveys of individuals who flew in or out of an airport between August 2022 and July 2023.
BNA by the numbers
Though we can’t be positive what factors yielded higher results for BNA this year, we’re certainly satisfied with these airport improvements
made from 2022 to 2023.
- A record-breaking number of 99 nonstop destinations and ~600 arrivals + departures daily
- Opened the 200,000-sqft Grand Lobby (aka more TSA lanes)
- 18 (and counting) new concessions and retail options
- 215-ft pedestrian bridge
- Cell waiting lot more than doubled in size
