The Word
Demolition. That’s the looming fate of the current Nissan Stadium, with the disassembly process set to begin in February 2027 and continue through October. Renascent Inc. is leading the project and plans to recycle 95% of the building’s materials. (Nashville Business Journal)

Chick-fil-A is headed to Antioch’s Century Farms area. The chicken chain’s opening date at 4234 Century Farms Terrace isn’t known, but hiring is already underway. In the meantime, get your fried chicken fix at local spots like McDougal’s and Waldo’s. (The Tennessean)
Coming Soon
Wawa, wait there’s more. Convenience store chain Wawa has another location in the works, this time in Hermitage at 4000 Andrew Jackson Pkwy. The biz previously announced Nashville stores in Antioch, Bellevue, and on Nolensville Pike, though it’s unclear which will open first. (Nashville Business Journal)
Sports
The Titans reportedly agreed to free agency deals with former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Van Jefferson + Detroit Lions guard Kevin Zeitler. Of note, Jefferson is a Ravenwood High grad and son of former Titans wide receiver coach Shawn Jefferson. (The Tennessean)

🥧 Savor Pie Town’s flavors

We’ve already shared where to find pie around town for Pi Day tomorrow, March 14; now, we’re serving up something new — a bite-sized dining guide for Nashville’s Pie Town neighborhood.
With a relatively new nickname (coined in the past decade or so), this area is defined by its pie-shaped borders along 8th Avenue South, Lafayette Street, and I-40.
Where to find your next bite:
Tennessee Brew Works boasts a full menu, including its signature Five Beer Burger, which incorporates five kinds of brews into the toppings.
Paseo South Gulch sits on the edge of Pie Town — the “crust,” if you will — offering even more dining options with Maiz de la Vida, Two Hands, and SunLife Organics.
If you’re searching for the neighborhood’s namesake, make weekend brunch reservations at City Winery for a slice of pecan pie topped with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream.
