400+. That’s how many songwriters are coming to Nashville March 25-29 for the 33rd annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival — the largest songwriter-only festival in the world.
The five-day event, presented by Regions Bank and Nashville Songwriters Association International, offers a behind-the-scenes look some of the music industry’s most creative minds. It was also recently nominated as one of USA Today’s 2025 Reader’s Choice “10 Best Festival Experiences in the US” — causeit seriously rocks.

The Tri-City Chili Peppers added a second Cosmic Baseball game, bringing their out-of-this-world blend of black lights, baseball, and fan engagement to First Horizon Park on back-to-back nights in June. To attend the June 13 date, register for the ticket lottery.

Kentucky and Gonzaga’s men’s basketball programs are set to battle it out at Bridgestone Arena this winter. The Friday, Dec. 5 tip-off time and television information will be released at a later date, but you can snag tickets to watch the action in person when they go on sale Friday, March 7.
History
Much like the Grand Ole Opry’s major set change in 2023, the new microphone stand to be unveiled at tomorrow’s show will surely go down in history. Six Opry/Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum members are set to perform as part of the venue’s 100-year celebration. Be a part of the crowd.
Concert
Set an alarm for 10 a.m. today. That’s when tickets go on sale for Mary J. Blige’s show at Bridgestone Arena. She’ll be making a Music City stop on Wednesday, April 23 as part of her “For My Fans” tour. Oh, and did you hear Sabrina Carpenter’s coming back to town?

Tomorrow, March 1 will mark the first performance of Nashville Downtown Partnership’s new Suffrage Saturdays music series in Church Street Park. Emerging female artists will put on free concerts from 12 to 2 p.m. each Saturday in March. Look at the lineup.
Community
Look at Nashville Yards’ pre-party setup outside of The Pinnacle. The activation will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. on show nights with live music, food trucks, and an LED TV wall. If you missed opening night at the new venue, tickets are still on sale for Illenium’s performance tomorrow, March 1.
Arts
“Enough to Go Around” debuts in the Frist Art Museum’s free Conte Community Arts Gallery on Friday, March 21 and runs through Sunday, June 29 as a companion exhibition to “Farm to Table.” Over 20 works from paintings to photography address food production, insecurity, and its role in communities.

The start of Ramadan depends on the sighting of the new moon. Mark your calendar for the annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner and Islam 101 Presentation at the Islamic Center of Nashville’s Bellevue (March 2 + 19) and 12 South (March 9, 13 + 16) mosques. Registration is required.
