It’s the time of year when holiday songs are stuck in our heads. We thought we’d contribute to the ever-growing canon of holiday content with our own semi-original song, featuring our favorite topic — yup, you guessed it — Nashville.

We could fill 100 verses with things we love about the 615, but to preserve your time — and all of our sanity — we’ll just stick to one. So, here you have it: NASHtoday’s 12 Days of Nashville.

On the 12th day of Christmas, Music City sent to me... 🎶

Twelve local farmers markets
Find local produce, baked goods, and more at Nashville’s year-round and seasonal farmers markets.

Eleven soul-warming soups
From melty, cheesy goodness to simmering bowls of broth, these piping hot soups are not to be missed.

Ten Nashville coffees
We tried an iced vanilla latte at 10 local coffee shops. And the roastery recognition goes to

Nine $10 lunches
If you’re looking for tasty lunch spots that won’t break the bank, we have nine restaurants calling your name.

Eight local history accounts
Where are our local history buffs? These eight social media accounts serve up daily (or weekly) doses of Music City’s past.

Seven Nashville candy companies
Step aside, Willy Wonka. We explore the past and present of local confections.

Six Nashville love stories
Read about six times Cupid visited Nashville.

Five Music City fun facts
Maybe you’ve lived here your whole life and know some of these stories — or maybe you’ll learn something new.

Four Nashville sounds
What do live music, construction, the bells at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, and stadium chants have in common?

Three mouthwatering smash burgers
These three smash burger concepts hit Nashville’s food scene in 2021 and are still going strong. In fact, Bad Luck Burger Club upgraded to a food truck. Beep, beep.

Two NASHtoday City Editors
You see our names at the bottom of your morning newsletter, but who are we? Get to know Dylan + Skylar with this guessing game.

One Nashville skyline
There’s only one Nashville skyline — well, two, if you count the Bob Dylan album of the same name. Find out what’s going on inside Music City’s tallest buildings.
