The downtown skyline is a sight we all see — and admire — every day, but how much do you really know about the skyscrapers that define it? We’re breaking down Nashville’s tallest buildings and what’s happening inside.

AT&T Building

This iconic building — better known as the Batman Building — ranks as the No. 1 tallest building at 617 ft high. AT&T was the sole tenant of the tower until 2006, but now shares the office space with other companies. DYK: Hidden inside is a temperature-controlled three-story winter garden atrium. This building won’t be at the top of the list for long — YMCA of Middle Tennessee has secured plans to build a 750 ft residential tower on Church Street, with construction expected to begin in 2023.

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences

The 542 ft tall building is a hybrid: Part hotel + part privately-owned residences. The hotel portion has 235 guest rooms, including 42 suites and an outdoor seventh floor pool. The grand penthouse on the 40th floor of the skyscraper — with 9,284 sqft of living spacehit the market at a casual $25 million.

505 Building

Developed by Giarratana Management and coming in at 523 ft tall, this building is the tallest completely residential building in Nashville. It is home to 45 stories of apartments and condos. Virtual tours are available online if you’re curious about what life is like at 505 Church St.

Fifth Third Center

The 490 ft tall building is composed of ~490,000 sqft of office space. In addition to Fifth Third Bank, other companies that rent space include Sony ATV Music, Dickinson Wright PLLC, and Bridge Connector.

Bridgestone Tower

The No. 5 tallest Nashville tower stands 460 ft high and has a title well-known by any Nashvillian: Bridgestone. Only a block away from the arena of the same name, Bridgestone Tower is the official headquarters of Bridgestone Americas, which made Nashville its home ~30 years ago.
