Get ready to hit the ice, Smashville — hockey season is back. Gear up for all things game day before the Nashville Predators’ regular season opener.

If you just can’t wait to throw on your gold and navy, head downtown on Saturday, Oct. 4 for PredsFest at Walk of Fame Park and a preseason game vs. the Carolina Hurricanes.

Getting loud in Smashville

Opening Night at Bridgestone Arena is on Thursday, Oct. 9 against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7 p.m. Don’t miss the pre-game Gold Walk and Plaza Party.

Here are a few more season highlights:

  • The schedule includes 12 Saturday home dates.
  • The Preds have the most home games (eight) in November, one of which is the designated “home game” in the 2025 NHL Global Series Sweden.
  • The team’s longest homestand (five games) runs from Oct. 21 to Oct. 28 when they play Anaheim, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Tampa Bay.
  • Every night in Smashville is electric, but these are the games you won’t want to miss.
