Alias Chamber Ensemble | “ALIAS Live”

ALIAS Live,” a new series of recorded performances featuring individual works, kicks off today with new releases dropping every other month. The first is a performance of Andrés Martín’s trio for double bass, “Marcas de Pasión.” The new composition was performed by members of the Nashville Symphony Bass Section (Joel Reist, Kevin Jablonski, and Matt Abramo).

Married folk-rock duo Linen Ray just released their latest album, “On the Mend.” The rootsy album’s 12 songs were written during a “transitional period” as Rebekah and Gabriel Craft were adjusting to living in Nashville after moving from Michigan. Bonus: The group’s name is a playful amalgamation of the couple’s middle names, Lynn and Ray.
