Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just plant-based curious — the annual Nashville VegFest returns on Sunday, Sept. 17 (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) at its new location in East Park. Dig into what to know ahead of the free-to-attend, sustainability-focused celebration.

Navigating the vendor lineup

First, make sure you’ve bookmarked the vendor map. Click the star next to each vendor you want to visit and find it in the “My Bookmarks” box. Over 40 vendors are participating this year, including Radical Rabbit (vegan soul food), The Gentle Barn (animal sanctuary), and Book Publishing Co. (reads focused on health, vegan cooking, and environmental issues).

Perks of a purchase

Though the festival is donation-based, get the full package by securing a swag bag ($10) with $50+ worth of product from festival sponsors and 10 raffle entries or VIP ticket ($25) with an upgraded goody bag.

For the kids

The Kid Zone features sporting activities like life-size Jenga, checkers, free-throw hoops, ring toss, and more. Don’t forget to stop by the face painting and coloring station for more sensory-friendly activities.
