‘Tis the season: Holiday concerts and plays in Nashville

Nashville’s concert venues and performing arts spaces are getting festive this holiday season.

As winter festivities return to Music City and holiday cheer fills the air, so will the sounds of the season. Prepare to sing and dance at these November and December concerts and stage productions.

Christmas 4 Kids Benefit | Monday, Nov. 25 | 7 p.m. | Ryman Auditorium | $43+ | This year’s lineup includes Phil Vassar, Chapel Hart, Ty Herndon, Jamie O’Neal, and Darryl Worley.

Mariah Carey | Monday, Nov. 25 | 7:30 p.m. | Bridgestone Arena | $95+ | Hear Carey perform the record-breaking single “All I Want for Christmas Is You” alongside other classics.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra | Wednesday, Dec. 11 | 7 p.m. | Bridgestone Arena | $79+ | This progressive rock group makes its way back to Music City for another electric holiday performance.

Leslie Odom, Jr. | Wednesday, Dec. 11-Thursday, Dec. 12 | 7:30 p.m. | Schermerhorn Symphony Center | $35+ | The “Hamilton” star and the Nashville Symphony team up for orchestrated versions of beloved holiday songs — and you’ll want to be in the room where it happens.

Christmas with The Tenors | Wednesday, Dec. 11 | 7:30 p.m. | CMA Theater | $44+ | The award-winning group will harmonize the night away with classic tunes and original songs.

A Very Dave Barnes Christmas | Saturday, Dec. 14 | 7:30 p.m. | The Fisher Center | $30+ | The artist’s annual holiday concert moves to the Belmont venue this year.

The Ornaments | Tuesday, Dec. 17-Sunday, Dec. 22 | Times vary | Eastside Bowl | $25+ | Experience a Nashville holiday tradition with Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” score performed live.

“Nutcracker” | Sunday, Nov. 24 | 4 p.m. | Grand Ole Opry House | $43+ | For one night only, the Grand Kyiv Ballet brings the traditional theatrical production to life in Music City.

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” | Saturday, Nov. 23 | 3 p.m. | TPAC’s Jackson Hall | $36+ | The beloved animated TV classic soars off the screen and onto the stage.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” Live | Tuesday, Dec. 10 | 6 p.m. | The Fisher Center | $20+ | Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts characters for this faithful stage adaptation.

“A Christmas Carol” | Friday, Dec. 6-Sunday, Dec. 22 | Time vary | TPAC’s Polk Theater | $58+ | Nashville Repertory Theatre brings back the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future by popular demand.
